Bethel Music Worship Nights

Bethel Music Worship Nights

Bethel Music is a community of worshippers pursuing the presence of God and doing life together. Their mssion is to carry the culture of Heaven to the nations through worship and to see the global exapnsion of God’s Kingdom through His manifest presence.

That is why, Manila was so privileged to have them lead us in worship last March 18, 2017 at SMART Araneta Coliseum. I was glad that I finally got to see them live and not just on podcasts and Youtube  videos. Hehehe. They were supposed to visit Manila last October 2015 but because of some unforeseen events, they had to call it off. But God’s plan still stands strong— they made it this time. Truly, God’s timing is always perfect!😊

During the first set, Bethany Whorle, Brian Johnson and Josh Baldwin led us in worship. They sang some of their famous hits and covers: Forever, Where You Go I Go, Praises Rise, This is Amazing Grace and No Longer Slaves!

Set two were Amanda Cook and Hunter Thompson. And yep! That’s Amanda singing her own single, You Make Me Brave. Huhu. Tears, tears everywhere.

They also sang King of My Heart, Lion and Lamb from their latest album, Starlight.

“So pull me a little closer, take me a little deeper, I wanna know Your heart, I wanna know Your heart cause Your love is so much sweeter than anything I’ve tasted, I wanna know Your heart, I wanna know your heart”

12, 000 sons and daughters of Christ came together and laid down everything and worshipped at His feet. It was also a great opportunity for us to pray for our nation. 🇵🇭

But the time is coming–indeed it’s here now–when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.– John 4:23 NLT

Shoutout to Becca Music for making this happen. You are a blessing to many! Follow them on Twitter and Instagram for upcoming concerts and  events.

Wicked Manila 2017

Wicked Manila 2017

Happy is what happens when ll your dreams come true!

WICKED, the Broadway and West End musical phenomenon, acclaimed as “one of the greatest musical of our time” (Daily Mail, UK) once again thrillified the Filipino audiences. The show ran from February 2 to March 19, 2017 at The Theatre at Solaire.

West End and UK actors led the cast when the show opened in Manila – including Jacqueline Hughes (Elphaba), Carly Anderson (Glinda), Bradley Jaden (Fiyero), Steven Pinder (The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond), Kim Ismay (Madame Morrible), Iddon Jones (Boq), Emily Shaw (Nessarose) and Jodie Steele (who performs the role of Elphaba at certain performances).

My top favourite Wicked songs are For Good, Defying Gravity and Popular-ar!

Everything was green. I cannot!

Thanks to everyone who offered to take my photos. Hehe.

One short day in the Emerald City!

With my Glinda during intermission… keeping ourselves together after the spectacular performance of Defying Gravity.  *cried a bucket of tears

Wicked – International Cast curtain call! I cannot.😭

“Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better, but because I knew you… I have been changed for good.”
